When should I see a doctor? 1

  • If your affected toenail shows no improvement after 1 year of treatment
  • If your affected toenail and/or the surrounding skin areas show signs of infection (e.g. pain, swelling, redness, pus)
  • If you have diabetes, poor blood circulation or a weakened immune system
