When Every Breath Matters: Asthma in Children What are spacers and chambers?

Spacers and chambers are tools that can be attached to certain puffers called metered-dose inhalers (MDI). These devices make it easier for your child to breathe in the medicine properly. The reason why it is important is that many people do not use puffers properly. Not using puffers properly can lead to worsening of asthma and side effects like sore throat and yeast infection.
